I was in my Granny’s kitchen eating extra-special cake,
when the walls began to tremble and the roof began to SHAKE.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Ring! Ring! Ring! Oh MY – a dino’s at the door.
And now it’s taken Granny . SOMEONE STOP THAT DINOSAUR!
Chase down the GRAN-NAPPING brontosaurus in this rollicking, rhyming, ROAR-some romp. Can you catch the naughty dinosaur and get back to Granny’s house before Mum comes home at six o’clock?
From Alex English and Ben Cort, the bestselling illustrator of Alien Loves Underpants, comes an irresistibly rib-tickling book that kids will want to read again and again . and AGAIN!
As well as sharing my own thoughts on this book, I am sharing the thoughts of my daughter Rosie who has taken this book on as her new favourite read!.
Stop that Dinosaur! is a delightful book that I have truly enjoyed sharing with my children. The story follows a young girl who’s Grandma has been stolen by a dinosaur. As she chases him through the various locations as she tries to get her Gran back, the story is told in such a way it really does keep the childs attention throughout.
My daughter was engrossed in this story from the very beginning. She loved the way the story was told with a rhyme throughout, and she got very involved in joining in with the Stop That Dinosaur! shout along with the girl in the story.
The book’s illustrations are equally captivating, and the bright, vibrant colours really do capture your attention on every page.
This is undoubtedly a story that many children will fall in love with. Speaking from experience, we have enjoyed this book several times a day for the past week, and my daughter certainly shows no sign of relenting on her love for this book. It is the book she makes a beeline for now when she wants to snuggle up with a story, and as a parent I don’t think I can give much higher praise than that!.
