Her Banished Knights Redemption by Melissa Oliver. #Blogtour

A lady’s need for protection
A knight’s chance for redemption

Exiled Knight William Geraint answers only to himself. Yet, a mission to find and reunite lost heiress Lady Isabel de Clancey with her family is Will’s chance to finally atone for the torment of his past. With every rushed mile, their intense attraction becomes dangerously thrilling. He swore to protect Isabel not seduce her, but their desire for each other could threaten the redemption he’s worked so hard to achieve…

My Thoughts.

Her Banished Knights Redemption is the second book in the Notorious Knights series. Each of the books can be read as standalone novels as they focus on a new heroine and hero, but if you are familiar with the series characters from previous books appear throughout the storyline.

This book follows the story of Isabel and Will. Will has been living in exile in France, and although he has been exonerated, he can’t remove the guilt he feels for the event that happened in his past. He is presented with a mission that will force him to face his past, in more ways than one. Will is instructed to find a young woman who has also been banished, but recent events lead to her needing to be found and brought back to England where she belongs.

Isobel has not been back to England for 12 years, and has been sure to keep her heritage a secret. However, when a familiar knight beckons her to return back to her rightful place with him. But Isobel is unsure, not knowing if the place she has avoided for so long is truly where she belongs.

This book was full to the brim with drama, suspense and heat. The characters were wonderful and the storyline was unique and interesting from beginning to end. I loved the situations the characters found themselves in, and the ways in which they impacted on Will and Isobel’s relationship blossoming as the story progressed. A truly gorgeous historical romance, that will leave you craving more.
