The Forever Girl by Jill Shalvis – #BlogTour

When Maze returns to Wildstone for the wedding of her estranged bff and the sister of her heart, it’s also a reunion of a once ragtag team of teenagers who had only each other – until a tragedy tore them apart.

Now reunited as adults, secrets and resentments are intertwined with incredible childhood memories. Unexpectedly, the group instantly fall back into their roles: Maze their reckless leader, Cat the den mother, Heather the beloved baby sister, and Walker, a man of mystery.

New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis does it once again with a heartfelt story of family, forgiveness, and secrets that have the power to change the course of more than one life.

My Thoughts:

As soon as I read the description for this book it had me intrigued, so when given the opportunity to both read and review it i jumped at the chance. From the very first page I found it incredibly difficult to put this book down.

I adore the characters in this book, and the friendship that is shared between Maze, Heather, Caitlin and Walker is so incredibly heart warming. As the story progresses, we learn more about them as individuals and their lives and secrets they keep. The more I discovered about the characters, the more I loved them!.

This story was filled with romance, family, love, and perfectly highlighted the importance of second chances. I certainly went through a range of emotions whilst reading this beautiful story, from laughter, to sadness, and everything in between.

The book was so beautifully written, you truly found yourself connecting with the characters, the settings and the situations they found themselves in. Although this is in fact the sixth book in the series, it is also possible to read it as a standalone story, however I am certain that once you have read one of Jill’s books, you will be desperate to read the full collection!.

Beautifully written, loveable characters, and a heart warming storyline. This book was perfection.
